I'm an ex-RAF pilot from the mid-late 90s, having been granted a flying scholarship during university studies. I learned to fly in the Chipmunk and Bulldog before progressing onto twin turboprops and larger multi-engine planes such as the C130 and VC-10. I was also a volunteer gliding instructor with the RAF between 1992 and 1996. I've recently started looking into flight simulator software and my interest grew when MSFS was released in late 2020. Currently, I'm semi-retired due to disability but keep myself busy volunteering for a number of local clubs and societies, offering admin and IT assistance. I've been married for 22 years (and engaged for 7 years before that) and have a 12 year old daughter. I love to travel when I can.
